Yes it gives you wind, but does taste nice. If you cook them in the skins the skin should just slide off. Also, who cooks things for 12 hours!!!

Try having some yourself - it only takes a TINY tuber to turn this house into a tornado! ;) It doesn't matter if it's mixed with potato either in my experience but I've recently heard that cooking it with a bay leaf will help with the wind.

Love that you are promoting using pressure cookers, these little devices are quite awesome. You can even make deserts in them once you get familiar with how they work. However, my favorite dish fixed in these? Classic Green Beans fresh from the garden. Best way to cook them by far!

Several inaccuracies or at least misleading, and possibly dangerous, statements. Without the proper knowledge, mushroom hunting can be deadly. There are mushrooms out there that will land you in the hospital and, possibly, on an organ transplant list. That being said, it is a rewarding hobby with field guides, experts to help with identification and the willingness to read and learn. Yes, some of the bolete family are quite delicious, but there are some you will wish you had not eaten.

Also, quite a few mushrooms will last at least several days in the fridge.
